Moz was born in a predominantly French suburb outside of Montreal, Canada. When he was a kid, the family bought a piano for his sister to take lessons. Moz quickly learned to play by ear with such enthusiasm and zeal – he destroyed the piano in the process.

His music career languished for several years while he fulfilled his father’s ideal of succeeding in business: first as an Auditor for a cement company and then as an Organization & Methods Analyst in the film industry, skills he was able to make a living from, but was terrible at employing in his own life.

Raised in French and English by Jewish and Catholic parents, this ex-office guy, now a singer-songwriter with dual Canadian/American citizenship living between urban Montreal and rural New Hampshire, finds that ... “life is never simply one thing.”
